SUDUTBATAM.COM - The commitment of PT Adhya Tirta Batam (ATB) to continue to actively contribute to efforts to improve the quality of clean water services in Indonesia grows more serious.
The company has formed a special team to assist PDAMs in Indonesia. This team consists of professionals who have worked in the clean water management industry. This professional team has proven itself by bringing the company to the title of the best clean water company in Indonesia.
"This team is ready to work hard to help PDAM Indonesia improve the quality of its services," said Head of Corporate Secretary ATB, Maria Jacobus.
In terms of qualifications, this ATB professional team has succeeded in bringing a number of achievements.
One of them is successfully building a digital-based intelligent system and being the first company to implement a Smart Water Management System.
This team also succeeded in bringing ATB to become the only clean water company that was able to build a smart system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) with independent resources, and without the help of a consultant.
This smart system called Sparta Smart Solution has received a patent from the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights and is the only smart system that supports the integrated clean water management industry in Indonesia.
"This is what we want to convey to PDAMs in Indonesia so that the quality of our clean water services can increase rapidly," explained Maria.
According to the PUPR Ministry's records, there are around 146 PDAMs in Indonesia that have been declared unwell to the point of illness.
A number of reasons are due to technical aspects, to the low effectiveness of billing water bills at the PDAM.
On the other hand, ATB has succeeded in solving this problem when it has been a clean water manager on the island of Batam for 25 years.
The company is listed as the best clean water company in Indonesia, with an average water loss of only 14 percent, and service coverage reaching 99.7 percent.
