Partner for International Business for Shipbuilding (PIB Shipbuilding) is a three-year programme initiated by Dutch government to assist a consortium Dutch companies in the market research, business development with local shipbuilding stakeholders from government, companies, and universities in Indonesia. The consortium consists of RVO, Netherlands Maritime Technology (coordinator of the PIB), Alewijnse Marine, CSI Control Systems, Damen Shipyards Group, Hydromaster Propulsion, Royal IHC, STC International, and Transocean Coatings.

    On Friday the 14th of December the convenant Partners for International Business (PIB): Shipbuilding Cluster Indonesia has been signed at RVO in The Hague by the following organisations: RVO, NMT (coordinator of the PIB), Alewijnse Marine, CSI Control Systems, Damen Shipyards Group, Hydromaster Propulsion, Royal IHC, STC International and Transocean Coatings.

    The main goal of the covenant is to boost the shipbuilding cluster in Indonesia. During the upcoming 3 years the organisations will work together with several Indonesian Ministries and the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia to explore the possibilities when it comes to shipbuilding and to strengthen the position of the Dutch shipbuilding cluster in general.
