A new drinking Water Supply System for west Semarang with a capacity of 1,000 liters per second will serve three districts, namely West Semarang District, Tugu and Ngaliyan with an initial target of 60,000 customers. The benefit of this project is to provide additional raw water supply to improve clean water service for communities and prevent an increase of land subsidence caused by excessive use of ground water in Semarang.
